Criss Cross Country
Three years ago, we loaded up the truck and we moved to Beverly... Well, the West Side of Los Angeles anyway.
Last week, we loaded up the truck and headed back to be with ya'll hillbillies again.
In case you ever wanted to know what driving 2,169 miles non-stop across the country with a freak husband who refuses to stop even though you're both hallucinating shadow people running across the road looks like, I give you this little film, made possible by iPhone and boredom and sleeplessness. Sorry in advance for the bugs (and to the bugs) on the windshield.

I've never heard of Feist but I recognized her voice from a song that I heard and loved on Sesame Street, believe it or not. I googled her name and it was her. I knew she had to be someone well known. Thank you for solving a mystery for me. I love her voice.
Oh and welcome back to the big K-Y!
Thank you for confirming once again that I am totally justified for looking at people crazy when they ask me why I don't just drive to Kentucky. I've made the trip from Ky to La, oh, about 5 or 6 times and thinking about doing it again (and watching this video) makes me totally road hypnotized. One my friend, Yettie, and I drove home for Christmas with her three kids in a beat up ole pickup that wouldn't go over 50. Arrrrrgh!
Sorry for blogging on your blog.
Welcome Back! You love the hillbillies. . .admit it!
Was there ever a car in front of you guys?
